Throughout the fall and winter, the outdoor components of your HVAC system may become dirty or experience other issues. As you go about your home maintenance in March, be sure to inspect these parts.
First, if your outdoor AC condenser has dirt or other debris on it, you may wish to use your garden hose to wash it down as best as possible. Be sure to also check fans and vents as these can become obstructed by leaves, sticks and even ice.
If your HVAC system shows signs of more serious problems or requires additional maintenance, you may wish to hire a professional to come look it over. With some preparation, your AC system will be ready to go when the weather turns hot.
